ABROMA AUGUSTA
(Olat Kambul—Indian)
General.–Albuminuria; sleeplessness; amenorrhea; carbuncle; diabetes mellitus and insipidus; debility; dysmenorrhea; weakness of brain.
Mind.–Irritable; excitable mood; ill humor; forgetfulness; absent minded; depression; morose; anxious; moody.
Head.–Empty feeling; rolling of head and vertigo; heaviness and discomfort; much giddiness.
Eyes.–Weakness of vision; puffiness of lids; heaviness; eyes easily tired; inclination to drop eyes closed; pain and watering of eyes; conjunctiva become pale.
Ears.–Shortness of hearing; buzzing in ears; discharge from ears.
Nose.–Sneezing several times; watering; dryness of nose with desire to rub.
Face.–Pale, yellow, wrinkled; old looking; itching eruption on face with burning sensation; furuncles of face.
Throat.–Dry; burning sensation; painful; difficulty in swallowing solids but drinking relieves throat symptoms temporarily.
Mouth.–Almost constant dryness of mouth; drinks large quantities of cold water at a time, yet dryness persists; dry and clean tongue; indistinct speech; lips dry and bluish.
Stomach.–Unnatural appetite; can eat shortly after a good meal. Hunger with faint feeling; desire for all kinds of food; feeling of emptiness in stomach.
Abdomen.–Flatulence with distension of abdomen.
Stool.–Constipation, brownish, black, knotty hard; lumpy stool with much straining.
Urinary.–Profuse urination day and night, frequent urination; dryness of mouth and great thirst; desire to drink after urination, which relieves thirst. Urination leads to exhaustion. Fishy odor of urine. Slight sediment. Diabetes mellitus. Nocturnal enuresis. Burning in urethra. White ulcers in mouth of prepuce caused by excessive passage of sugar in urine. Inability to retain urine.
Heart.–Weakness of heart. Palpitation worse on movement; faint feeling.
Respiratory.–Cough with purulent expectoration. Pain in chest. Lumpy sputum white or yellowish, with in cold air. Aggravation in evening and night. During coughing, patient presses chest.
Skin.–Dry skin, scratching; burning. Small boils in summer, carbuncles, etc.
Extremities.–Dull pain in back, extremities, emaciation and weakness of limbs. Pain in kidney region.
Male.–Absence of sexual drive, inability to coition, becomes exhausted after coition. Swelling and hanging of testis.
Female.–Irregular catamenia; blood is dark, clotted, profuse or scanty and pale amenorrhea or dysmenorrhea. Leucorrhea profuse, white, thin, watery. Chlorosis. Colicky pain in lower abdomen 2-3 days before menses. Hysteria associated with menstrual disorders.
Sleep.–Drowsiness; Insomnia. Prostration and aversion to do any labor. Unrefreshed sleep. Sleeps better in the early part of morning.
Fever.–Dry heat over the whole body. Great thirst.
Dose.–Mother tincture, 2x, 3x.

General.–Female disorders.
Mind.–Mental and other symptoms tally with symptoms of Abroma-Augusta.
Female.–Irregular menstrual disorder. Dysmenorrhea. Menstrual flow copious or scanty. Leucorrhea.
Dose.–Mother tincture, 2x, 3x.
