ATISTA INDICA or GLYCOSMIS PENTAPHYLLA

(Ash-Sheora—Indian)

General.–Biliary colic; diarrhea; flatulence.

Mind.–Weak memory; indifferent mood; no vigor.

Head.–Vertigo in morning; gnawing pain in one temple at a time.

Eyes.–Photophobia; on opening eyes, light trembles before him for a few seconds, making him to shut his eyes; trembling of light before eyes after sleep.

Ears.–Unusually increased hearing, humming sound in ear.

Nose.–Nose-bleed; dry coryza.

Teeth.–Bleeding gums; dull pain at root of teeth.

Dryness.–Unquenchable thirst during hot stage.

Tongue.–Constant spitting in morning with occasional belching of salty water; sour water brash.

Throat.–Inflammation of tonsils persist few weeks after fever.

Stomach.–Canine hunger; aversion to liquid food and strong desire for lime juice; throbbing at pit of stomach, heaviness in stomach; flatulence temporarily relieved by eructation; indigestion due to worms; frequent eructation after a meal; heartburn 3 to 4 hours after food.

Abdomen.–Colicky pain round the navel makes the patient senseless; tenesmus and drawing pain in renal region.

Heart and Pulse.–Palpitation during fever; pulse full, hard, quick during fever but very weak and slow after remission of fever.

Stool.–Constipation and watery diarrhea during the whole period after fever; pale earthly stool; bloody mucus stool with or without force.

Male.–No sexual desire; erection at night without any cause; peculiar electric-like throbbing in urethra for few seconds.

Limbs.–Weakness and heaviness in limbs; legs “go to sleep”; cramping while getting straight.

Fever.–Chill without thirst, heat with intense thirst, fever comes 5 to 10 am and subsides 3 to 4 am every alternate day.

Dose.–Mother tincture, 2x, 3x, 6 etc.
