General.–An afternoon fever and rheumatic pains in various parts are caused by this remedy. Pain in sternum and ribs, in back and shoulders and extremities; heat, pricking and aching in hands, especially palms, fingers, also toes.
Head.–Forgetful; giddy on rising; head aches, scalp sensitive; eyes burn, pain in right eyeball.
Fever.–Slight chill, afternoon fever, glowing heat in face, hands, and feet, copious sweat on upper part of body.
Relationship.–Compare: Cedron; Natr mur; Arsenic.
AZADIRACHTA INDICA or MELIA AZADIRACHTA
(Neem—Indian version)
General.–Ozena; pemphigus; scabies.
Mind.–Depressed; forgetful, mistakes in writing and spelling; forgets the names of very familiar persons, or what has been done the previous day.
Head.–Giddiness; esp. at 10 am, worse when rising from sitting posture; throbbing headache; esp. right-sided; worse in open air, aggravated by stooping; scalp is painful and sensitive to touch, even hair is painful.
Eyes.–Eyes are red, congested, burning, dull and heavy; pressive pain in right eye-ball.
Ears.–Buzzing in ears like tickling with feather, worse on opening mouth.
Nose.–Watery discharge from nose.
Mouth.–Putrid taste in mouth; no thirst but mouth is clammy and bitter; tongue is painful; burning, felt as scalded; papillae seem enlarged and prominent; saliva tastes salty; difficulty in deglutition, esp. water and meat; very thirsty, esp. at long intervals or sometimes thirstless.
Throat.–Left-sided sore throat.
Abdomen.–Great uneasiness in abdomen with flatulence passing offensive flatus; twisting pain in epigastrium; clutching pain in umbilical region, obliging to bend forward; heart-burn and water brash.
Stool.–Insufficient stool; small, hard and knotty when constipated, but natural stool copious. Soft and semi-solid; burning in bowels.
Male.–Great excitement of sexual organ; urine scanty; high colored urine, scalding, strong odor.
Respiratory.–Very troublesome cough after bathing at 1 pm; sputa is white, thick, and small lumps expelled with much difficulty.
Extremities.–Numbness of limbs; burning of soles and hands; rheumatic pains in lower extremities.
Sleep.–Sleeplessness and tossing in bed; dreams of quarrels, beating, etc. in latter part of night.
Skin.–Itching without eruption.
Fever.–Fever with chill or without chill from 4.30 pm; gnawing heat with burning of various parts of body, copious sweat, esp. on forehead, neck, upper part of body; no sweat in lower parts of body.
Dose.–6, 30, 200.
