GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE
(Mesharingi or Gurmar—Indian)
General.–Sugar killer-excellent medicine for diabetes mellitus; also efficacious in poisonous snake-bites.
Urinary.–Profuse urination loaded with sugar. After passage of urine, the patient exclaims, ”this passing of urine in large quantities has made me very weak.” Color. White; quantity copious, specific gravity high.
Skin.–Burning all over the body; diabetic carbuncle.
Tongue.–Great thirst.
Sexual system.–Weakness of sexual power.
Dose.–Mother tincture, 3x, 6.
