JANOSIA or JONOSIA ASOKA or SARACA INDICA

General.–Various uterine disorders; astringent menstrual troubles chiefly in menorrhagia.
Mind.–Good-natured; affectionate; easily weeping; excitable and fatigued, does not like to do any work; absent-minded; slow to understand; hyswter8ical; impatient; satisfied with small things; disturbed sleep; insomnia; dreams of traveling or of fear.
Head.–Stupefying or congestive headache; headache better by free menstrual flow; periodic headache better by bathing; heaviness of head; vertigo.
Eyes.–Conjunctiva becomes red with burning and itching; lachrymation; photophobia; styes on the upper eyelids; short-sighted; tired feeling in eyes with least exertion.
Nose.–profuse watering of nose, sneezing; soreness of nostrils; obstruction of nose; anosmia; epistaxis.
Ears.–Pain in ears; hardness of hearing after severe cold.
Face.–Pale; alternately heat and red; pimples.
Mouth.–Dryness with excess thirst; drinks large quantity of water at a time; thickly white or brown coated tongue; bleeding gums; toothache.
Throat.–Redness of throat with sore feeling; easily takes cold; cough.
Appetite.–Desire for sweet, sour things; disinclined to milk.
Stomach.–Excessive nausea, sometimes with bile-vomiting; pain in epigastrium; colicky pain; no desire for food; eats little.
Abdomen.–Hard, distended abdomen with passage of foul smelling air up and down; worse in evening.
Stool.–Obstinate constipation; passes stool every third or fourth day; pain before stool; soreness in anus; blind or bleeding piles with itching and burning; large, hard stool covered with mucus.
Urinary.–frequent, bloody, scanty, and involuntary micturition at night; tenderness in bladder and pain in loin.
Male.–Swollen testicles; drawing pain in spermatic cord; itching in scrotum; seminal discharge with or without dreams.
Female.–headache due to suppression of meses; delayed or irregular menses; menstrual discharge scanty, pale, watery, foul smelling; blackish; amenorrhea at puberty with headache; palpitation, hysteria with loss of appetite. Better by commencement of free flow; menorrhagia; metrorrhagia; leucorrhea from delayed menses or in place of menses; infantile leucorrhea, small girls become emaciated despite regular nourishment; menstrual colic; headache due to scanty flow of menses with severe pain all over the lower part of abdomen.
Respiratory.–Hurried respiration; difficulty in breathing when walking and worse in the afternoon and evening; hacking cough.
Heart.–Pain over pericardium; palpitation, worse on movement, walking, or bending forward; tight feeling across chest; pulse full, hard, quick.
Pain.–Pain in back and sacrum, radiating toward abdomen and thighs.
Limbs.–Weak feeling in limbs; pain in small joints; shifting pain; numbness of limbs.
Fever.–Chill without thirst; dry heat with restlessness; red cheeks; flushed face; running of nose.
Dose.–Mother tincture, 2x, 3x.

General.–Has extensive sphere of action on female organs. Amenorrhœa and metrorrhagia.
Head.–Unilateral headache; reflex uterine, congestive headache, better open air and by free flow. Pain in eyeballs; supraorbital pains, photophobia. Nasal catarrh, profuse, watery discharge. Loss of sense of smell.
Gastric.–Desire for sweets, also acid things. Thirsty, excessive nausea; obstinate constipation, hæmorrhoids.
Female.–Delayed and irregular menses; menstrual colic; amenorrhœa, pain in ovaries before flow; menorrhagia, irritable bladder; leucorrhœa.
Sleep.–Disturbed. Dreams of travelling.
Back.–Pain along spine radiating to abdomen and thighs.
Dose.–Tincture.
